WHAT TO EXPECT
- Your first rental day begins with one of our licensed local captains onboard.
- Rather than simply handing over the vessel, your captain will spend the day helping you become familiar with the boat and navigating the Exuma Cays.
- Throughout your orientation day, your captain can familiarize you with safe routes, shallow areas, sandbars, fuel locations, docking locations, local boating considerations, tides, weather, and other important information relevant to operating within the Cays.
- You'll still be able to enjoy your day on the water while becoming familiar with the vessel and surrounding area.
- For approved multi-day rentals, qualified guests may operate the vessel independently after the required first-day captain orientation, subject to the rental agreement and approval.

RENTAL DETAILS
- Vessel: 25ft Boston Whaler
- Capacity: Maximum 10 guests
- Engine: 350 HP
- First-Day Captain: Required at the applicable captain-for-hire rate
- Security Deposit: $1,500 BSD
- A $1,500 BSD security deposit is collected at checkout.
- The security deposit is returned after the rental once the vessel and equipment have been returned in their original condition, subject to the terms of the Boat Rental Agreement.
- Fuel is not included , vessel should be brought back filled.
FIRST-DAY CAPTAIN
- For your safety and to help you get the most from your rental, the first day requires one of our licensed local captains at the applicable Captain for Hire rate.
- Your captain will help familiarize you with:
- Safe navigation routes
- Local boating considerations
- Fuel locations
- Sandbars and shallow areas
- Popular beaches and nearby attractions
- Docking locations
- Tide considerations
- Weather considerations
- Vessel operation
- GPS and navigation equipment
- This allows your first day to serve as both an enjoyable day on the water and an introduction to navigating the local area.
- For multi-day rentals, approved and appropriately experienced renters may then operate the vessel independently for the remainder of the rental period.
- Guests who would prefer not to operate the vessel themselves may keep a captain for additional days at the applicable rate.
GOOD TO KNOW
- All prices are listed in BSD. BSD $1 = USD $1.
- A signed Boat Rental & Liability Waiver is required before departure.
- The first rental day requires a licensed local captain at the applicable Captain for Hire rate.
- Captain service on subsequent days may be added for an additional fee.
- Independent operation after the first day is subject to approval and appropriate boating experience.
- A $1,500 BSD security deposit is required.
- Security deposit refunds are subject to the terms of the Boat Rental Agreement and the vessel being returned in its original condition.
- Weather and sea conditions may affect rental availability.
- Our team reserves the right to require a captain when safety, weather, sea conditions, boating experience, intended use, or other operational considerations make it necessary.
