WHAT TO EXPECT
- Before departure, our team will meet you at the boat for a dockside orientation and safety briefing.
- We'll familiarize you with the vessel, onboard equipment, GPS chartplotter, VHF marine radio, safety equipment, and other important operating information.
- Guests renting without a captain will also receive guidance regarding the recommended cruising area and important local navigation considerations before departure.
- Once your orientation is complete, the boat is yours to enjoy for the agreed rental period within the approved cruising area.
- Spend your time visiting beaches, snorkeling, exploring sandbars, cruising between nearby Cays, light fishing, or simply enjoying the water.
- The vessel must be returned to the agreed location by the confirmed return time.

RENTAL DETAILS

- Security Deposit: $500 BSD
- A $500 BSD security deposit is collected at checkout.
- The security deposit is returned after the rental once the vessel and equipment have been returned in their original condition, subject to the terms of the Boat Rental Agreement.
CAPTAIN OPTIONS
- The 17ft Boston Whaler is available with or without a captain.
- Guests with appropriate boating experience may operate the vessel independently after completing the required orientation and safety briefing.
- If you're unfamiliar with navigating the Exuma Cays, we highly recommend hiring one of our licensed local captains—especially for your first day.
- Your captain can help familiarize you with:
- Safe navigation routes
- Shallow areas
- Sandbars
- Local boating considerations
- Fuel locations
- Docking locations
- Beaches
- Snorkeling areas
- Tide and weather considerations - For guests renting for multiple days, spending your first day with a local captain can be a useful way to become familiar with the area before exploring independently.
GOOD TO KNOW
- All prices are listed in BSD. BSD $1 = USD $1.
- Maximum capacity is 4 guests.
- The vessel is powered by a 100 HP Yamaha engine.
- A valid government-issued photo ID is required.
- A signed Boat Rental & Liability Waiver is required before departure.
- Previous boating experience is recommended for rentals without a captain.
- A captain may be added for an additional fee.
- A $500 BSD security deposit is required.
- Security deposit refunds are subject to the terms of the Boat Rental Agreement and the vessel being returned in its original condition.
- A safety briefing and dockside orientation are required before departure.
- The vessel must remain within the approved cruising area.
- Boats must be returned to the agreed location by the confirmed return time.
- The renter is responsible for the vessel and equipment during the rental period.
- Weather and sea conditions may affect rental availability.
- Our team reserves the right to restrict independent operation when safety, weather, sea conditions, boating experience, or other operational considerations make it necessary.
